A regional theatre with brilliant acoustics. The foyer of the theatre interior was designed by Ing. arch. Šafář from Ostrava in cooperation with Ing. arch. Svoboda. Its dominating feature is a picture from the academic painter Kroča. Its chandeliers are the work of the academic sculptor Jiří Boháč, a workman of the House of housing standard in Prague. The dominating chandelier perns from the lower foyer up to the first storey. Another monumental chandelier is situated on the second storey, from where the balcony is accessible.
The large hall was reconstructed which means that the original richly decorated interior of the academic architect Veith, the native of Nový Jičín, professor from the Academy of Arts in Berlin, has not been preserved. The author of today's large hall is Ing. arch. Šafář.
The capacity of the large hall is 395 seats.
The biggest sponsor of the Beskydy theatre is The Philip Morris Company.
