The Trip of Nový Jičín - Trojačka (10 km)
We will set out from Nový Jičín to the destination of our trip, to the top of Trojačka.
About 400 m below the peak,
the nature reserve of Trojačka is situated. This area of 9.86 ha was declared to be a reserve on 10/2/1969.
The area is situated at a height of 480 to 595 m above sea level in the central part of the Veřovice Hills.
Following the eastern direction along a ridgeway over the ridges of Trojačka, Huštýn, Krátká, Dlouhá and Kamenárka you can get to
Velký Javorník.
On Trojačka Hill you can find a unique object of interest, the Jaštěrka Spring. After a couple of meters the spring divides into two branches, each of which drains water away into a different sea. This interesting geographical phenomenon is called "bifurcation".
